Joe Cozzolino, a 30-year veteran of the communications industry, is Executive Partner at Siris Capital Group LLC, a leading private equity firm focused on making control investments in data, telecommunications, technology and technology-enabled business service companies in North America. He works closely with the firm’s investment professionals and other executive partners to identify and validate potential investment opportunities for Siris as well as assist in the oversight and operations of Siris’ portfolio companies.
Following Siris’ acquisition of TPx Communications, Mr. Cozzolino is serving as interim CEO and Chairman of the Board for the managed services provider. He will guide TPx through its ownership transition and the selection of a new CEO, after which time he will continue on as the Chairman of the Board, helping to guide TPx’ strategy and commercial and operational initiatives.
Before joining Siris in December 2018, Mr. Cozzolino has held a range of senior executive positions at the world’s leading communications companies. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Worldwide General Manager at Cisco Services, with responsibility for growing Cisco’s global services business. Prior to that, he held roles at Motorola, including Senior Vice President and General Manager, Network Infrastructure, for Motorola Mobility, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of EMEA and Asia Pacific operations.
Joe is also Treasurer of University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Foundation Board, which provides financial assistance to support educational programs, including research, awards and seminars, and to offer student scholarships.
