Joel Kappes joined TPx in February of 2020 as the Senior Vice President of Service Delivery. He brings over 25 years of customer onboarding and operational leadership experience to the role.
In this role he is responsible for leading the Service Delivery Organization and ensuring the successful onboarding of new TPx customers across all lines of business.

Joel has spent time with numerous companies in technology and has held leadership roles with companies such as PGi, Mitel, ShoreTel, RingCentral, Fore Systems, MCI, and First Data Corporation. He is also a veteran of 12 years having served in the United States Army as a communications specialist and Non-Commissioned Officer.

Joel currently lives in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife Angela.

Ken McMahon joined TPx in June 2020 as Senior Vice President of Customer Success and is responsible for all aspects of the customer success strategy for TPx.

McMahon has 25 years of experience leading various aspects of the end-to-end customer experience including professional services, customer success, customer care, national operations and sales. He joined TPx from Vonage where he developed a Global Customer Success organization supporting UCaaS and CCaaS customers.  McMahon had responsibility for all customer implementations, care and technical support and customer success.

Prior to Vonage, Ken was with CenturyLink. During his seven-year tenure at CenturyLink, he held a number of senior-leadership roles with P&L responsibilities and led large organizations encompassing sales, field operations and capital investment, among others. Prior to CenturyLink, Mr. McMahon served as Director of Sales Support at EMBARQ, which was the largest independent local exchange carrier in the United States before it was acquired by CenturyLink in 2009. Before EMBARQ, he held several roles managing customer care, support services and business transformation for Sprint.

Ken and his wife, Kelley and two children, Jordan and Cael reside in Phoenix, AZ.

Don Joos joined TPx as CEO in 2020 following the company’s acquisition by Siris Capital LLC. In this role, he leads the company’s continued strategic evolution, capitalizing on its successful transformation into the premier managed services provider. Joos brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry with a strong track record of transforming high-tech companies in the software as a service (SaaS) and unified communications as a service (UCaaS) space.

Most recently, Joos was the CEO of PGI, a cloud-based communications and collaboration provider and Siris Capital portfolio company. Previously, he served as President and CEO of ShoreTel from 2013 until its sale in 2017. In that capacity, he drove the strategic transformation of the business to a subscription-based SaaS model. While at ShoreTel, he also served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Vice President of Global Services. Prior to that, Joos held executive roles at Avaya, including Vice President of Global Services, Vice President of Global Implementations and Vice President of Global Customer Care. Earlier in his career, he was Vice President of Services and Strategic Customers at SiteStuff. Joos earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts.

Mr. Seiter is an innovative information technology executive with over two decades of success delivering business and technology transformation across global and mid-market companies. As Chief Information Officer, Mr. Seiter is responsible for the development and delivery of TPx’s enterprise technology strategy, which will lay the foundation of our goal to provide a frictionless customer experience.

Prior to TPx, Mr. Seiter was the CIO of Acelity. During his 8-year tenure, he partnered in the delivery of innovative technology and business transformation initiatives that led to the sale of Acelity to 3M in the largest acquisition in the +100 year history of the company. Mr. Seiter began his career at JP Morgan Chase, where he left as Executive Director of World Wide Security Services and was responsible for the firm’s client-facing technologies. Mr. Seiter now leverages his broad technology background, customer focus, and internal partnerships to reposition enterprise IT organizations to driver operational efficiencies and improve business growth.

Barbara Porter currently serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO, Don Joos, and leads the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). Barbara brings more than 20 years of project management, business analysis and process engineering experience in telecommunications and IT. In addition to the support for the CEO and his entire leadership team, Barbara is responsible for the tracking and program management of the Enterprise strategic portfolio of projects at TPx.

Barbara joined TPx Communications in a consultative role to assist in building an Integration PMO during the TelePacific and MPower Communications merger. She officially joined TPx Communications a year later to lead the implementation of the EPMO. Barbara has been a key lead on multiple M&A integrations over the past 11 years as the Vice President of the EPMO.

Before joining TPx Communications, Barbara held increasing BPM roles at NewSouth and NuVox Communications where she obtained her PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Service certifications, which she leveraged to build her first PMO. As the Director of the PMO at NuVox, Barbara was responsible for leading the team to execute growth and efficiency projects which were key inputs to the Windstream acquisition.
