Managed Backups and Disaster Recovery

With Managed Backups, your data is automatically backed up daily to a secure offsite location and recoverable instantly to any place you need it.

What Is It?

Managed Backups and Disaster Recovery offer a robust solution for protecting your data and minimizing business interruptions.  Protect critical data from the threats of physical damage and natural disasters with automatic daily updates to a secure, offsite location.

With Managed Backups from TPx, your data backup, recovery, and business continuity needs are seamlessly integrated into a single platform, covering local, virtual, and cloud environments. This comprehensive approach ensures that regardless of your infrastructure—be it physical, virtual, or cloud-based, and regardless of the operating system you use—Windows, Mac, or Linux—your data remains safeguarded.

Why You Need It?

How long can your business afford to be down? Whether due to human error, a breach, or a natural disaster, accidental data loss isn’t an if – it’s a when. Establishing and maintaining a robust backup and disaster recovery solution is paramount to minimizing costly business disruptions, and can often be the difference between minor inconvenience and long-lasting damage to your business. With TPx, businesses gain a reliable, secure, and efficient solution to protect their data and maintain operational continuity.

The Benefits

Fast Failback: Returning to normal operations on a physical server does not have to be a complex and involved process. With Fast Failback, simply provide a new server for failback, create a Bare Metal Restore bootable USB, and boot the new server. Updates to the failover VM are automatically applied to the USB image over the network so that when you are ready, failback is a few clicks and a few minutes away.

Agentless and Agent-based Backup: Get support for both physical and virtual systems through agentless and agent-based backup. Agentless protection facilitates quick pairing of any number of VMware systems or templates, while agent-based protection offers scalable backup for physical devices.

Inverse Chain Technology: Eliminate broken backup chains with TPx’s inverse chain technology. Easily adjust retention and delete recovery points without resetting the chain or taking a new base image. Each backup is fully constructed and bootable, eliminating the need for complex conversion processes before restoration.

End-to-End Encryption: All data is protected with AES-256 encryption both in transit and in the cloud. Users have the option to encrypt data locally, and passphrases can be specified per appliance or per protected machine.

Advanced Screenshot Verification: After backups are completed, TPx appliances can boot backups as virtual machines locally. An image of the login page is captured to provide visual proof of successful backup. Additionally, critical applications can be ensured to boot properly.

NAS and iSCSI: TPx appliances can provision capacity to serve as shared NAS file storage (NFS and CIFS) or IP block storage with iSCSI. Snapshot schedules can be applied for cloud protection.

eDiscovery Software: Take advantage of granular Application Search and Restore through eDiscovery software. Users can search keywords within their backup data, emails, and attachments, and review them in an easy-to-read format. Compatible with various file formats and systems including Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL.

Backup Insights: With Backup Insights, users can identify file and application changes between any two backup points. Files and applications can be recovered directly from the interface with minimal information about when or where they were lost. Backup points can be simultaneously mounted, and files are presented in an easy-to-read file tree format.
