Patricia Alexandrea relishes the opportunity to give back. And if she can do so while building fellowship with her colleagues, all the better.
The San Diego-based TPx employee was one of 221 participants, including employees and family members, in the company’s annual Days of Service initiative, creating food bags for children and their families.
“There is a sense of fulfillment knowing that I am able to help and reach out to those in need by doing voluntary work,” Patricia said. “It’s a small step toward a larger goal and will collectively provide joy to those who are less fortunate. Knowing that my small part will eventually benefit children and their families is gratifying. I also enjoyed spending time with my co-workers.”
Service has been central to TPx’s efforts throughout our history. This year, TPx proudly logged more than 740 volunteer hours at 25 sites across the United States and Ireland.
“This event helps to build the culture of TPx in a way that energizes our company,” said Carolyn Haar, TPx’s Senior Learning Consultant. “While product development and new solutions are headline-worthy, happy customers result from happy and inspired employees. At TPx, we are invested in that mindset. Days of Service gives us the opportunity to serve together in our communities, and we come away inspired and connected.”
TPx participates in its annual Days of Service initiative to show gratitude. As a virtual company, this initiative allows TPx employees and their families to gather for camaraderie while making a difference in their local communities.
“Participating in Days of Service offers me an opportunity to make a positive impact on the community, address critical needs, and support causes that align with organizational values,” said Meredith Estep, an Atlanta-based TPx team member. “It fosters teamwork, boosts morale, and creates a shared sense of purpose beyond the workplace, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility.”
The Atlanta TPx team gathered to make sandwiches for The Sandwich Project, addressing food scarcity in metro Atlanta.
“Participating in this event is a great way to feed the soul,” said Chelsea Pote, a San Antonio-based employee who volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank and prepared donation boxes. “I feel invigorated and inspired after volunteering in the community and making an impact. Thank you to TPx for continuing to support this program!”
