Welcome to TPx Managed Endpoint Security

Welcome to TPx Managed Endpoint Security. This article explains what to expect from your service, how responsibilities are shared, and where to go when you need support.

Service Overview

TPx Managed Endpoint Security is a standalone endpoint protection service powered by SentinelOne.

The service helps organizations detect suspicious endpoint activity, support investigation, and coordinate response without requiring customers to manage the platform experience on their own.

Managed Endpoint Security is available in two solution tiers.

Standard solution tier (EDR)

The Standard solution tier is designed for organizations with IT or security staff who can review alerts, investigate threats, and make response decisions.

It includes:

  • SentinelOne-powered endpoint detection and response
  • Continuous endpoint visibility
  • Behavioral AI detection
  • Storyline attack correlation
  • Platform-based response capabilities
  • Reporting and dashboards
  • Platform configuration and technical support from TPx

TPx manages the platform and support experience. Your team reviews alerts, investigates activity, and determines the appropriate response.

The Standard solution tier does not include 24/7 MDR monitoring or analyst-led investigation.

Advanced solution tier (EDR + MDR)

The Advanced solution tier is designed for organizations that need analysts to monitor, investigate, and respond to endpoint threats around the clock.

It includes the capabilities of the Standard solution tier, plus:

  • 24/7 MDR monitoring
  • Analyst-led investigation and triage
  • Proactive Threat Hunting
  • Response actions based on defined response authority
  • Incident coordination and customer communication
  • Quarterly business reviews

SentinelOne MDR analysts monitor and investigate endpoint activity. TPx manages the service experience, communication, support, and escalation coordination.

Your organization remains responsible for business decisions, response authority, and the broader IT environment.

Service Onboarding

Onboarding prepares your Managed Endpoint Security service for active monitoring and support.

Onboarding may include:

  • Account provisioning and kickoff
  • Confirmation of covered endpoints
  • Deployment guidance and requirements
  • Baseline platform configuration
  • Response authority planning
  • Escalation contact confirmation
  • Transition to active monitoring based on the selected solution tier

Protection depends on the SentinelOne agent being deployed, active, and communicating from all covered endpoints.

Response Authority

Response authority defines which actions may be taken during a security incident, who may take them, and when customer approval is required.

This is established during onboarding.

Supported actions may include:

  • Endpoint isolation
  • Process termination
  • File quarantine
  • Platform-based remediation
  • Ransomware rollback when supported and applicable

Available actions depend on platform capabilities, endpoint operating system, agent status, customer-approved authority, and incident context.

Shared Responsibilities

TPx responsibilities may include:

  • Platform configuration and service management
  • Technical support
  • Escalation coordination
  • Incident communication
  • Customer-facing service management
  • Quarterly business reviews for the Advanced solution tier

SentinelOne responsibilities in the Advanced solution tier include:

  • 24/7 monitoring
  • Alert investigation and triage
  • Proactive Threat Hunting
  • Approved response actions

Customer responsibilities include:

  • Confirming the endpoints covered by the service
  • Coordinating agent deployment
  • Maintaining current escalation contacts
  • Defining response authority
  • Making business and response decisions
  • Managing the broader IT environment and user support

What Managed Endpoint Security Does Not Include

Managed Endpoint Security does not include:

  • Endpoint patching
  • Device health monitoring
  • General endpoint operations
  • End-user help desk support
  • Email security
  • Identity security
  • Mobile security
  • Security Awareness Training
  • Full digital forensics and incident response for major breaches

Some of these capabilities may be available through separate TPx services.

Managed Endpoint Security and Endpoint Management

Managed Endpoint Security and Endpoint Management are separate but complementary services.

Managed Endpoint Security focuses on threat detection, investigation, and security incident coordination. Endpoint Management supports device health, patching, monitoring, and endpoint operations.

Together, they provide more consistent endpoint coverage, smoother agent deployment and validation, better visibility across managed devices, and stronger coordination between IT operations and security response.
