Why TPx Chose SentinelOne for Managed Endpoint Security

Every managed security service starts with a series of decisions.

Some are about people. Others come down to process. One of the biggest is choosing the technology the service will be built around.

For our Managed Endpoint Security offering, that meant evaluating endpoint security platforms to determine which one would best support the experience we wanted to deliver.

Selecting the right platform meant identifying the technology that best aligned with our vision for Managed Endpoint Security.

Looking Beyond the Feature Checklist

Evaluating an endpoint security platform means considering how the technology will support the service, the customer experience, and the outcomes the team is expected to achieve.

Those priorities became the framework for our evaluation.

The Questions We Kept Coming Back To

There were plenty of technical details to evaluate, but we kept coming back to four questions:

1. Can we trust what it tells us?

Detection is only valuable if you can trust the results.

We wanted confidence that the alerts we received would provide meaningful signals, not unnecessary noise.

SentinelOne has consistently demonstrated strong detection performance through independent third-party evaluations. That gave us confidence in the platform’s ability to identify suspicious endpoint activity accurately and provide a reliable starting point for investigation.

2. Does it help us understand what’s happening?

Understanding what happened is just as important as knowing that something happened.

SentinelOne’s Storyline™ capability automatically correlates related endpoint activity into a visual sequence, making it easier to understand what happened, which systems were affected, and how the activity progressed.

3. Does it help us respond more effectively?

Effective response depends on being able to move from investigation to action quickly.

SentinelOne includes built-in response capabilities, including automated response actions and rollback that may help restore affected files and system state on supported Windows systems when available. Those features help support faster containment while reducing the manual effort involved in responding to an incident.

4. Does it make the job easier?

Endpoint security shouldn’t become another disconnected tool to manage.

SentinelOne integrates with a broad ecosystem of security and IT solutions through the Singularity Marketplace, helping teams incorporate endpoint security into the security and IT workflows they already use.

Why We Landed on SentinelOne

Taken together, those qualities made SentinelOne the clear choice.

The platform aligned with the service we wanted to build by combining strong detection, clear investigative context, effective response, and broad integration options that fit seamlessly into day-to-day operations.

Just as important, SentinelOne proved to be the right partner. Beyond the technology itself, they provide the technical resources, enablement, and support that help us deliver a consistent managed service experience for our customers.

Technology Isn’t the Service

Our role is to help customers deploy, operate, and get the most from their Managed Endpoint Security service. That includes onboarding, platform configuration, service administration, ongoing support, incident communication, escalation coordination, and helping customers understand what is happening and what actions may be required.

The service experience differs by solution tier. In the Standard solution tier, customers review alerts and make investigation and response decisions using the SentinelOne platform. In the Advanced solution tier, SentinelOne MDR analysts provide 24/7 monitoring, investigation, triage, and approved response actions, while TPx manages the service relationship, coordinates communication and escalation, and provides ongoing customer support.
