Upload an Auto Attendant Greeting as a WAV File
Follow these three steps to record a new greeting through a phone and add it to an Auto Attendant menu or submenu. You can also use a pre-recorded WAV file for the greeting if it meets TPx’s specifications; if so, skip ahead to Step 2 below.

WAV File Specifications
With TPx’s messaging system, you can upload custom greetings and on-hold music to your Announcement Repository in WAV or WMA format. However, the system expects to receive a file with certain properties.

Audacity is a free, easy-to-use program that you can use to record and edit audio files. Use the following instructions to save a pre-recorded WAV file for an Auto Attendant greeting that meets TPx’s specifications.
