Intercept Group

NOTE: To activate this feature, please contact TPx Customer Care at 888-322-6553.

The Intercept Group feature allows you to gracefully take a group out of service while providing callers with informative announcements and alternative routing options. This feature is typically used for a group that has been decommissioned.

Depending on the service configuration, none, some, or all incoming calls to the group users are intercepted.

To get a read-only view of the options available in this feature before you activate it:

  1. Log in to ucx.telepacific.com with your admin credentials.
  2. Click Utilities on the left menu, then click Intercept Group in the Advanced column.
  3. The Intercept Group page opens. All options are visible, but they are “greyed out” and cannot be edited.
