This month we would like to highlight TPx’s Supervisor of the Quality Management team, Ariana Wagner. Ariana has been with TPx for two years and is based in Ireland. Her role is critical in maintaining the excellent services our customers expect from TPx. Read on to learn more about Ariana.
What led you to join the TPx team?
Early in 2020 when COVID-19 really started to hit us here in Ireland and a string of lockdowns began, I knew I wanted to move to a fully remote role. It was tough to find a role in the middle of a pandemic, but I knew exactly what I was looking for, so I held out until that eventually popped up. TPx was hiring staff in Ireland remotely so I applied and here we are!
How has your role changed since you started at TPx?
I joined TPx in June 2020 as part of Class 1 for TPx Ireland. Since then, my role has changed a lot! I originally started as part of the support team and then moved into training as a Technical Training Specialist. Over the next few years, that role transformed to include quality as well as training. This ultimately led to my current role, where I supervise an amazing team of Quality Managers. One of the best things about working at TPx is the ability for professional growth and development.
What’s it like working at TPx?
Working at TPx means working with a united group of people who all want to see each other and this company thrive. There is always something to do and some project to get stuck into, in the best way possible! Here are just a few of the awesome employees we have here in Ireland.
What motivates you at work?
Helping to make our teams the best they can be is what motivates me every day. Seeing the growth in our people and processes is so rewarding.
At TPx, we strive to be the easiest software services provider to do business with. How do you further that goal?
A focus on customer experience and is how we make that possible. My team works with the feedback we get from our customers through phone calls, emails, and surveys to understand and evaluate what our customer experience looks like. We use that information to improve our processes at TPx. We are always learning, growing, and evolving as we continue to improve and become the best at what we do!
What is your favorite productivity hack?
I always plan ahead where possible, but if I have a sudden tight deadline on getting something done, I listen to some kind of workout/motivational playlist and sit there until I get it finished!
What does diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you and why is it important?
To me, DEI means we are including, representing, and ensuring the participation of all the different groups of individuals we meet every day in work. When we are embracing our individualities, we are using our knowledge to the fullest. Every person processes and thinks of things in different ways, and embracing this allows us to see things from many perspectives and utilize this to strive for success.
How do you enjoy spending your time on the weekends?
I recently bought an old cottage, so my weekends are full of demolition and renovations with at least one trip to a DIY store of some sort. I have two very special helpers, Fudge and Zoe, who as you can see are really hard at work to help us with all of the renovations!
