TPx Promotes Gregory Haines to Manager of Channel Partner Provisioning

LOS ANGELES – January 30, 2018 — TPx, the premier managed services carrier, has promoted Gregory Haines to manager of channel partner provisioning, an exclusive group dedicated to processing service orders, installations and escalations for agent partners and their clients nationwide.

Haines, an employee at TPx since 1998, has held several management positions in field operations, network operations and technical support. Prior to joining the channel partner provisioning team, he oversaw the Premier and Wholesale Repair group and also managed the company’s UCx migration team following the acquisition of DSCI in 2016. In the latter role, he supervised the migration of customers’ hosted and managed services onto TPx’s Broadsoft network.

“Greg has a lot of experience in the business and he has worked with most of our agents so he is no stranger to the channel,” said Yvette Barreto, director of channel partner provisioning. “He will be a huge asset to our already seasoned provisioning team, proving once again that we are serious about listening to what our agents are asking for and then making the investment in top-flight people and resources to support them where they especially need it.”

Barreto, a long-time TPx employee and experienced service delivery manager, was tapped in August to spearhead the channel partner provisioning team, which includes several project managers, coordinators and engineers with an average of 14 years of experience liaising with agent partners and customers.

As the former UCx Migration Team manager, Haines has deep experience with hosted solutions and managed services. He also ran TPx’s repair department for many years and is looking forward to leveraging that experience along with his knowledge of operations and provisioning to support channel partners and their clients.

“TPx’s channel program already drives half of our new service orders and it’s expanding fast nationwide,” said Haines. “Couple that with the fact that channel partners today are increasingly selling more complex UCx and managed IT services, and we’re on a trajectory that requires a special level of communications and coordination. I’m thrilled to join that effort and look forward to teaming with agents to make sure their clients receive exceptional service.”
