Receptionist allows you to send e-mail messages to contacts that have messaging configured in the system. You must also have the Messaging feature enabled within Receptionist. To configure this feature, go to the Settings - Messaging tab.
You can use the Receptionist or Call Center client to send instant messages to your contacts. For each chat session, a Chat window appears at the bottom-right hand side of the window.
If you have the instant messaging and presence (IM&P) service assigned, you can use the Receptionist or Call Center client to chat with other IM&P users and see their presence state when you are online. The instructions are the same for both clients.
Receptionist allows you to monitor the call state of up to 100 selected contacts.
