WARNING: The system will not send any alert notifications to contacts who fail to acknowledge the test alert.
Contacts entered in the TPx Real-Time Application portal must be tested to ensure they are entered correctly and receive alert notifications. Contacts must positively acknowledge the test alert in order to receive actual alert notifications of critical events.
When the alert is acknowledged, the Call Alert Notification Service will update the test with the “Acknowledged” date stamp, and the contact will receive all live notifications in the future.
If the test is rejected, the Call Alert Notification Service will mark the test with a “Rejection” date stamp. The contact will not receive any future notifications until the contact is retested and acknowledges an alert.
