Manage Users and Account Responsibilities

Need to add or remove a user, or change what someone is authorized to do for your TPx account? You can request these changes through the TPx Customer Portal.

For your account’s security, only a Primary Authority can request changes to users and their account responsibilities.

If you have access to the Customer Portal, follow the steps below. If you do not have Portal access or need help with your request, contact TPx Support.

Protecting Your Account Information

TPx Communications has an obligation, and customers have a right, under federal and state law to protect the confidentiality of Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI includes information about the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, and use of certain services you purchase from TPx.

Maintaining accurate user information and account responsibilities helps protect your information and ensures that only authorized individuals can access or make changes to your account.

What Is a Primary Authority?

A Primary Authority is an individual designated by your organization to manage users and their responsibilities for your TPx account.

Only a Primary Authority can request that users be added or removed or that their account responsibilities be changed.

5. Select the User’s Responsibilities

Provide or confirm the user’s information, select the locations where their responsibilities should apply, and choose the appropriate responsibilities for that user.

Depending on the request, responsibilities may include access to billing, technical support, service configuration, the Customer Portal, or service notifications.

6. Review and Submit Your Request

Review the information you’ve entered to make sure the user, locations, and responsibilities are correct, then submit your request.

TPx Customer Care will review the request and contact you if additional information is needed. Approved changes may take up to one business day to take effect.

You can track the status of your request through the case created in the Customer Portal.
